Faith in Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland is one of my absolute favorite fairytales. However, I love the darker versions, such as that in American McGee's Alice. This is what inspired me to create this photo illustration. This project was a longer one of mine, where every detail had to be cleverly organized to grasp the mood and feel that I wanted. The sky is a cloud covered illusion of pocket watches and I substituted cards for leaves on the trees. It's difficult to distinguish reality from the dream world as my model, Desmond, lies peacefully sleeping under a tree while the Mad Hatter watches over her.
